After Hurricane Irma, Fishermen's Hospital in Marathon Key, FL was destroyed. Travis joined a young friends group of donors to help promote its Capital Campaign ($40M) to bring back community health and airlift support to the Keys.

Over 200 minutes of earned national cable news time was delivered in New York Studios. Initial book tour of three months was extended to three years and 35 plus state visits with leading state and local thinktanks.

Inspired by Missouri Speaker of the House Elijah Haarhr, the State of Missouri commissioned a large panel of subject matter experts to explore the feasibility of a high-speed hyperloop commercialization and research center along the Interstate 70 Route Corridor. The project concluded with a full study, and Travis presented some strategic findings before the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT).

In conjunction with Jammber in Nashville, TN, Travis monitored the progress and passage of the Music Modernization Act in 2018, the most significant update to Federal digital media in 30 plus years.

Driven by a failed effort to keep the Saint Louis Rams football club in Saint Louis, a small project team explored sports stadium technologies of the future. Enter Venue Next, whose application of 600 plus Aruba bluetooth sensors have now enabled drinks to find you at your stadium seat! While our project ended, use of the Venue Next ecosystem has expanded into other hospitality venues.

Former seed stage investment in SADAR SD led to a year-long exploration of FCC bandwidth acquisitions pivotal to autonomous smart vehicles uses for commercial applications. Early research, somewhat aligned from such companies as Trimble and Google Ventures, ultimately led to later advances with lidar sensors in cars. The 2020 SPAC rise of luminar supports this adoption in smart vehicles.

How Money Walks is a book, a smartphone application, and a plan to turn ordinary taxpayers into extraordinary community advocates. By sharing the multi-media experiences that showcase taxpayer mobility from every county in America, we hope to promote smarter growth policies.
